The Center for Human Neuroscience
Virtual Laboratory

The CHN Virtual laboratory is a place where anyone can learn skills, play with data, communicate with other scientists and carry out independent research.
The goal is to allow students to journey through a genuine end-to-end scientific workflow:
LEARN
Read, watch a series of videos and do a series of mini-projects and quizzes to consolidate your knowledge. At the end you should have a basic understanding of neuroimaging.
CREATE
Carry out a series of little projects that lead up to you being able to examine how responses in a given brain area are related to psychological experience.
You will choose what to explore, out of over a million of possibilities.
Learn how to search the academic literature, statistics, and a do little bit of coding & experimental design.
SHARE
Share the results of your research with the community and get feedback. You will learn how to report statistics, how to cite articles, and how to present your science in a way that is clear and interesting.

The CHN Neuroimaging Collective is made possible through generous ongoing support from the University of Washington Student Technology Fee & the hard work of many fantastic students.
